What does Farming Futures do?

Farming Futures is a student-run initiative that was founded in 2011 at the University of New England. The aim of Farming Futures is to provide an opportunity for students to mix, learn and network with current and future leaders in the industry.

Our vision is to create networking opportunities for students with private corporations and organisations, aiming to ensure future employment for those students in industries dedicated to the agricultural sector.

How can Farming Futures help you? 

Farming Futures prides its committee on not only giving students the opportunites to find their passion and their future careers, but also assisting companies to find their ideal candidates for graduate programs, summer jobs and more.

A message from the 2024 Chair People

Farming Futures is a non-profit, university-run student committee that connects students to leaders in agriculture. Our mission is to provide undergraduates with information about future positions or summer jobs in the agriculture industry. We organise three events every year, offering students a platform to meet industry leaders and providing resources for students interested in the agriculture industry.
